Copyright and takedown

This page explains how a rights holder can ask Carlenius to remove content. We act promptly on notices that are complete and valid.

What this covers

This page covers material shown on carlenius.com, including listings and details saved to a user's garage. For content on another website, contact the operator of that site.

What to include in a notice

A notice is easier to act on if it includes:

  1. A description of the work or material you say is infringed, and of your right to it.
  2. The exact address (URL) on carlenius.com where the material appears.
  3. Your full name, the organisation you act for if any, and an email address where we can reply.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for one.
  6. Your signature, handwritten or electronic.

Where to send it

Send your notice through our contact page and write “Copyright notice” in the subject line.

What happens next

We review each notice and act on valid ones promptly. We may remove or disable access to the material, and we may ask for more information if a notice is incomplete. We let the person who sent the notice know what we decided.
